Reading for pleasure is one of the best ways for students to improve their minds, widen their horizons, and even raise test scores. Having a variety of books in the classroom library is essential. Our class visits our school library once a week and are limited to two books each week. We would benefit from adding books to our inventory. This would make it possible for more students to have access to different genres and topics. Having a strong and varied classroom library is important. Each student has a different reading need and different interests. In order to meet these needs I am trying to supply them with as many choices as possible. They need choices to fuel their curiosity and imaginations. Matching each child to good books is essential for great learning! My project builds our classroom library, builds brains, and creates some comfy seating areas. My goal is to help students love reading and help them find unique and well-written books to enjoy. Reading is a critical life skill and is essential to success in school as well as a future career. Help me build their future one book at a time.
