With these materials my students will have more flexible seating opportunities in our classroom. My students have many challenges that create a need for a break from the traditional seating. These pillows and reading couch will do the trick! I can picture an inviting reading corner with students sitting on comfy pillows engaged in learning! During instruction, when a child needs to move they can take a pillow and sit where they find more focus. They can take what we are working on to any part of the room! The couch will also aid in organization in our literacy center area. The baskets will hold the books the students read.
