My students lack the geographical foundations necessary to do well on the US History and Geography Regents. These resources will help me emphasize geography throughout all of the units in the US History curriculum. By using Earth globes and whiteboards I will craft activities for my students to help them understand better historic events such as the Lewis and Clark Expedition, and the Westward Expansion. With the help of the classroom map, the globes, and the whiteboards, my students will be able to design their own expeditions, explain events such as the Gold Rush, and make sense of troops' movements during the Revolutionary War.
