In March of 2020, the COVID-19 outbreak forced full-time remote learning. Our school was not prepared. We needed devices and we needed them NOW! The issue of devices for primary students suddenly required immediate attention, leading to the purchase of 1,000 new devices in mid-March. That was not enough. Some parents have a device at home for their child to use, but many do not. If my class receives these devices, it will help them to do their schoolwork at home, when they are quarantined for days at a time.
