I have a class of highly gifted 3rd and 4th graders who love science and math and learning in general. Their enthusiasm for exploring and understanding the world is infectious and forces me to be a better teacher. Half of my class are girls and this is the perfect age to get them excited about science and STEM so that they might pursue STEM careers in the future. Our school has 5 gifted classrooms as well as at least 3 classrooms at each grade level. Many of our teachers take classes to further their teaching skills and we love to share ideas and supplies.
