Our school is unique because we are from a very small close-knit rural community in Southern Illinois. Our school's average enrollment is about 80 students. Despite our small numbers, we do not lack in the area of school pride! The community pulls together to give our young learners the best possible educational experience and that is where my search to find funding for my Kindergarten classroom began. I teach Kindergarten and I have a room full of curious and active learners. The idea for this project came from the fact that they love to sit and listen to a story read to them! I want to provide my students with complete access to literature and this listening center device can open even more doors!
