This collection of books will provide an immeasurable benefit to my students. Spanish readers usually struggle with finding interesting books in their native language. As a result, students may become bored with the selection of books available and neglect reading regularly. Consequently, their reading level suffers, and so does their chance of success. My plan is to set up these books in my classroom library, so the students can have a variety of books to read during independent reading time and during centers. Most of my students come from financially disadvantaged homes, and do not have access to books at home. Your generous donation will insure that my students have the materials needed to embark on our literacy journey and eventually become lifelong readers. Thank you in advance for making a difference in my students' lives!
