My classroom is comprised of 36 amazing Fourth Graders whose radiant smiles light up my world! Most of my students come from Bilingual households and all receive free lunch. My students are hardworking, diligent, and dedicated learners. They live in a community that has experienced a rapid jump in violence. From 2013 to 2016, the number of shootings each year increased from from 16 to 64 a 300 percent increase with this increase it is imperative that my students continue to dream and enjoy their childhood with receive best education possible so they can be the change in their neighborhood.
