The materials that I am requesting are in order for my students to maintain their focus when they are working independently on various assignments. My students love listening to music while working, however, it is hard to find a balance between having them focused while working and having them flip through songs which defeats the purpose of them listening to music in the first place. The wireless headphones would be able to give me the ability to control the music they are listening to as they maintain focus on their work. Having the students use the wireless headphones adds a layer of seriousness and excitement to working independently. To further minimize the distractions Privacy Partitions is another material that I am requesting in order to minimize distractions from their peers inside the classroom since we work in a small space. I am trying to build an environment of dedication and focus in my classroom and these materials will definitely help us build this environment.
