Our textbooks are still relevant and utilize many different aspects and teaching resources. The students use these books every day to further understand concepts, vocabulary and improve critical thinking skills. However, our books are in disrepair and need attention. Our district refuses to purchase new and will not fund for their repair. I often see my students look at our current books with disgust. I would love to see the faces of my students when they open a newly rebounded book and enjoy the satisfaction of using something that they deserve. It will be like Christmas!!
