I am starting out my first year of teaching with more ideas than I know what to do with. I am working to provide the most immersive educational environment for my students by providing the multi-sensory learning opportunities they need to succeed. Visual supports, manipulatives, and hand on learning opportunities are just the start! I also plan to implement flexible seating because it allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. We are always working towards more independence and self awareness is going to be key for their long term success!
