Our Elementary is in a low-income area, so a big chunk of the population are English Language Learners. This does not stop them from being the hardest working students I have ever had the pleasure to work with. The faculty knows this, and therefore work just as hard for their students. Most of us stay hours after school to get materials ready for our students. However, our students still do not have enough exposure to technology. In a school of 1200 students, we only have 2 computer labs. Students do not have the opportunity to practice real-world applications with technology outside of their lab time (twice a month). They constantly ask about the old HP towers in the library, and why they can't be fixed.
