I am a biology and Medical Interventions (PLTW) teacher at a low income high school in California. Although my students are not from privileged backgrounds, they are hard-working, curious, and passionate individuals that are hungry to learn. My philosophy as a teacher is rooted in providing students optimal opportunities to satisfy their curiosities and cultivate skills that will support them for the rest of their lives in order to become socially minded, informed, and responsible individuals that will be the change that our society so desperately needs.
