The materials and supplies that I am requesting allows my students the power of choice. It allows them to have some degree of choice and control over their environment. It allows them to change their location and positions as needed. Children need to MOVE! Flexible seating allows them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand. This leads to an increase in oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. By having these 6 wobble seats it will allow students to collaborate and discuss! It promotes communication, creativity, and critical thinking! I plan on allowing my students to use these wobble chairs throughout the day! For example, during small group work, technology time, and independent time!
