I have found through my years of teaching that my students don't all sit in their chairs while working. Some students stand, some students rock their chairs, and some students prefer to sit on the floor. I want to give my students comfortable options where they can do their best learning safely. By donating to our project you will be allowing my students to make their own choice about where they feel they can do their best work. Many of my young students move while they are working, and the wobble chairs will allow for that outlet of energy without distracting their learning. The stools and pillows will give a fun option to a chair. The lap desks will offer my students who prefer to sit on the floor a place to do their work. I have seen seating options like these used in other classrooms in my school and how they impact the positive learning environment. I look forward to seeing how these items help my students grow as learners.
