The best part of being a world language teacher is seeing my students start making connections and producing the language on their own. I love to watch as their confidence builds and they become independent communicators. Reading is a great way to increase confidence and proficiency in another language. Maus would be an amazing text to help my kids increase their abilities in Spanish as it's a graphic novel and provides excellent visual support along with dynamic storytelling. It will also allow them to learn about an integral part of world history in a new way. Thank you for your consideration!
