Our school is in Hawaii and our ethnic background is very diverse. We have a high population of ELL students, and we are a low income school which qualifies for title 9. We are a career pathway school where students choose electives that prepare them for specific careers like arts and communications, automotive mechanics, and health care. We have a small learning community set up for incoming freshman so that they feel more connected with their teachers and peers.
