Students will be able to choose the seating that they are most comfortable with. Many students prefer to work on the carpet with a clipboard, rather than staying seated at a desk. With a wide range of seating available to them, they will be able to be the best version of themselves. I have already lowered a table in my classroom and allow students to work on the floor. However, those are the only options of sitting. By incorporating more types of seating into my classroom, students will be able comfortably work on the carpet, in a bean bag chair, or on a couch.
