My teacher seat at our work table is a therapy ball chair and they all clamor to take turns. We have had sessions where they can play the teacher and use my chair. It's their attention to task and change in their movements are fun to watch. My students love the ability to wiggle and bounce but still attend to task. Many of my students have difficulty keeping their bottoms on their seat and, in our small room, they end up invading the personal space of their peers. Given the changes in curriculum in the last several years, sessions have gotten shorter and the need to stay on task and get as much learning done is the little time I have them has shifted. This small tool that gives them the ability to move but stay seated could do great things for our productivity.
