Sixth Grade Reading students at our Middle School are eager to be engulfed in Language and Literature! We are diving straight into language by conducting a daily dissection of author's purpose, narrator’s point of view, parts of plot, types of conflict, character motivation and much, much more. Becoming a good reader is the mission we are instilling in all of our students. Reading is the one skill that follows all of us into adulthood and throughout the course of our lives. Literacy is a gift these students have been given. Learning to use literacy to its fullest, helps to enhance the ever present gift of reading. In an attempt to keep our students at the top of their game, we are constantly looking for ways to improve our teaching, our curriculum, and our materials. Continuous exposure to new and up-to-date resources is allowing these sixth grade students to gain knowledge and explore the world around them to the highest degree.
