Our population consists of economically and racially diverse students with strong parental support. The district and parents face the economic challenges of today's society, but strive to push our children to achieve academically. Our school builds on this parental support, utilizing excellent teachers to prepare our students for their future lives. Science is a key focus in this venture. We celebrate science yearly at the annual Science Night. Science Night is NOT your typical Science Fair. Science Night is a community event that consists of volunteers sharing their scientific knowledge and careers with the students in an "open house" type setting. After 13 years, the students look forward to this annual event with an increasing sense of urgency. They truly enjoy being immersed in the science experience.
