I need an ELMO visual presenter to help get my entire class engaged in demonstrations, activities, and class wide discussions. Document cameras can also be extremely helpful for peer-editing lab reports, exploring diagrams, and sharing student ideas about inquiry activities. Activities like these can help get students excited about science and deepen their understanding of chemistry. Chemistry is challenging for many students because it is an abstract science that relies on math. Using a document camera will not only help them visualize the concepts that they are learning, but it will allow me to face them while teaching. Being able to see them will help me check their understanding of concepts and re-teach areas that they struggle with most while getting constant feedback from them.
