The students in my classroom have low-incidence disabilities that inhibit their ability to function in general education classrooms without adult support and adapted equipment. These students come to school every day and despite challenges they face (communication, fine/gross motor, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing, etc.) these learners work incredibly hard and do their best to catch up with their peers. Our classroom is in a school that receives title I funds and offers free breakfast and lunch to all students as the poverty level among families is high.

About my class
