Flexible seating will allow students to learn and work in an environment where they are not glued to their traditional desks and chairs. Wobble seats and yoga ball seats will allow them to get their wiggles out without distracting others. Studies have shown that many children with and without ADD/ADHD learn better while their bodies are in motion. Pedal exercisers will give the opportunity for students to move their bodies even while attending to whole-class lessons. Students will be able to use the floor seating options (carry cushions and laptop sitting desks) to move around the room during partner readings or other group work. Students will be given a choice where to sit and how they work best.
