My students are 5th graders in elementary school in North Carolina. I am preparing my students for their transition into middle school. My students are 10-11 years old and include students with disabilities and students who have Attention Deficit Disorder. Not all kids learn by sitting still. I want to provide them with the opportunity to move while learning and making choices to guide them towards achieving their learning goals. My students need an environment where they can make choices in how they can reach their learning goals and how they can grow into becoming college and career ready.
