Welcome to Piru Elementary School. Our school is located on the eastern end of Ventura County in Piru, California. We are a Title 1 school with all of our students on free or reduced lunch. Our school is implementing PBIS, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports as part of a safe and civil school program. Where does the athletic striper come in? Our playground needs to have structured play so our students can play safely and interact positively not only with each other but staff. Our play areas are divided up by grade level and activities: jump rope, play structure, basketball and lastly soccer. Soccer is the most popular and our fields need to stripe to keep the game "in bounds". We have two fields but with the striping we could easily expand it to three fields. Once the striper is donated we could use it for various activities such as : dance festival, promotions. Keep our kids safe!
