With TI Scientific Calculators, my students will be able to focus their time on developing an understanding of the concepts learned by having the ability to compute and check their answers efficiently. By having a classroom set of calculators, I can ensure that my students have the correct tools to perform calculations in class without the fear of them losing or breaking a calculator somewhere in the middle school hallways or the black hole of their lockers! In my classroom, it's essential that all my students are able to have a calculator to use. We make complicated calculations that help us discover the ins and outs of algebra, geometry, and statistics. Having a classroom set of calculators gives the students an opportunity to do the math that increases their knowledge and confidence in mathematics.
