Our school is in a very low income area. Many of our students and 85% of my classroom are on free or reduced lunch. Although many of their parents would love to be involved and help as much as possible, financial circumstances at home cause an imposition to do so. My students are a great bunch despite any financial issues. They are learning to build their confidence, find their niche, and be proud of themselves for a job well done.

About my class
