Second graders love to play games while learning new skills. The comprehension activities and math manipulatives in this project will take our learning to the next level. Second grade is a critical time for reading instruction. Students meet with the teacher in small groups to learn and practice strategies to ensure comprehension. Each day students work in small groups for math as well. They meet with the teacher, work independently, play games and practice fact fluency. The fast paced activities keep my students on their toes and challenges even the highest achieving students.
