My students are like most junior high kids ... looking for a reason to get excited about school and get involved. We have nearly 950 students in a 7th - 8th building. Students are easily involved in athletics but not as easily involved in academics. Getting them excited about science and thinking outside of the small towns they come from is a big challenge.
