Social emotional learning is SO important! A few times a day we will pause for “SPA” time. A focus on Solitude, Peace, & Awareness. During these check-in times students can identify their emotions and use their hands -on materials bins to smooth or calm any negative emotions (and to enjoy the positive ones). During these short pauses in the day students will also have digital access to positive affirmations and breathing techniques. They can use the materials in their “SPA” bins during those times also! The teepee will be a special incentive. Students can earn time in the teepee as the “happy camper.”
