Our student population -- who are 72% free- and reduced lunch -- are hungry for technology. They'd like just a little taste of the high tech equipment other, newer schools in the area enjoy. And with a tight state budget, California has no way to help these students learn those important technology skills that will be so vital to both personal and professional lives when they graduate. My students work hard: our standardized test scores have been moving steadily upward for ten years. But we'd like to see them go higher, and we know that extra boost can come from exposure to hands-on technology.

About my class
