If my project is funded, my students will use the listening center weekly during our Daily 5 center time. They will listen to stories to enhance their fluency and comprehension while sitting in cozy spot in the classroom. This donation will also help them with their vocabulary and word recognition. They are at a school where reading is important and I want them to feel successful. They will be able to read some of their favorite stories such as fairy tales as well as non-fiction books. This donation will also help them become life-long readers. We have all loved listening to great stories. Help my students by giving them the opportunity to enjoy a good book in a comfortable and cozy spot in their classroom.
