Being organized is a skill that will help students to be successful now and in the future. I teach fourth grade at a charter school in a high-need community in New York. Our charter school uses a co-teaching model, so there are two certified teachers in each classroom with up to twenty-eight students. This allows for increased opportunities for small group instruction and a more differentiated learning experience for each student. As grade team leader it is my responsibility to ensure that the fourth grade students in both classes have the materials they need to be successful.
