Having more technology in the classroom does not replace teaching, but enhances and supports the teaching in my classroom. My students use technology to help them practice math concepts, spelling words, science concepts, essay writing, testing in all subjects, etc. The chrome books will increase the quality of learning in my classroom by reinforcing what we are learning in every subject. They will also enable the class to be instructed in smaller groups for a more individualized instruction. 6th grade students are very computer literate, and enjoy working with technology. This project will allow them to learn and review concepts in a way that is engaging to them.
