In an effort to prepare our scholars for the 21st century their has been a huge emphasis on STEAM education. With support from our district, each of my kinder students will have access to Chromebooks on a daily basis. I will now be able to incorporate Pear Deck and Seesaw throughout the curriculum and keep my students engaged and accountable! In the past my scholars have enjoyed using the above applications to respond to a lesson through drawings or by dragging an icon to the correct answer. However, their favorite thing to do is record their voices! They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but seeing my students faces light up when I play their audio is priceless! With the use of the headsets, I will be able to give a voice to my shyest student or the perfectionist who is learning Spanish as a second language and is afraid to say it wrong. By using the headsets not only will their voices record clearly, they will have the opportunity to hear themselves before they post and edit. Through this project I will ensure that every voice is heard!
