As our school’s population changes, so should the library collection. My students need more books that reflect their diversity. Gone are the Dick and Jane books. I would like to provide my students with great books they can connect to, and characters they can identify with. My students deserve to see themselves in books. These books will be added to our school library collection for students to borrow and share with their families, with the hope of sparking a new or renewed interest in the joy of reading! Thank you for the opportunity to give this gift to my students.

About my class
