Providing head phones will allow students to experience the technological resources through the newly adapted Amplify curriculum. Students move from the traditional pencil meets paper classroom environment, to a classroom that utilizes all sorts of media, and applications. Media is used as supplemental materials to help students build background knowledge for a deeper meaning of text. Applications found on the software permits think-out-loud which helps students analyze and make connections with text. Students will also be able to follow audio readings as they dive into grade-level text. It is imperative that students hear modeled fluent reading to build their reading skills.
