Often, students with disabilities and trauma can get frustrated and irritated when faced with challenging work. Many of our students retreat into their phone, computer or simply put their head down to avoid work. Recently, we've found that hands on puzzles keep our students from this disengagement, continue to work on their critical thinking skills while getting a much needed break. Our goal is to provide our students with enough puzzles to keep their critical thinking skills sharp while taking that much needed break from frustration and boredom. While digital life is great, it's far too easy for students who are overwhelmed default to their screens. In order to facilitate success, our students need constructive breaks and that's our goal.
