My classroom is currently made up of 26 children. All of the learners in my room have different abilities and personal strengths. In our room we have students on IEP's for learning and or social and emotional disabilities. The students enjoy working together collaboratively although it can be a challenge for some. We work through such challenges through cooperative activities and social stories. It is important to keep all learners engaged at all times. The children in my room has expressed the need for more books to read during their silent reading times that are nonfiction.
