Distance Learning can feel disconnected without the tools in a normal classroom. I want to engage my students as much as possible during Distance Learning, and I want them to be able to learn through multiple medias, rather than just the computer screen. The OkioCam will allow me to use paper and pencil while teaching, and will give the students the opportunity to follow along with their own notebooks at home. This can be used to teach Writing, Math, Art and Reading as I can project the words of a book while I read them aloud. The additional learning resources, such as the TPT gift card, books and Math manipulatives will create an engaging learning environment. It will allow me to purchase exciting digital resources, allow me to continue differentiation in Math virtually, and allow the students who don't have books at home to still soak in the experience of a true read-aloud with diverse books.
