These inquisitive, active, knowledge-seeking kindergarteners love, love, love their literacy and math center time! This is their time to feel more independent as they work in partner situations on the curriculum being taught in whole group instruction. The students will use the literacy materials to build beginning language skills, including word building to sight-word recognition. The math materials will develop skills from matching to addition and subtraction. Your generous donation will enable my students to feel successful and confident as they work independently. In addition, successful centers provide the teacher with much needed small group instruction time. It is a win-win situation!
