Many of my special education students struggle with our currently seating which is that of a typical middle school classroom. The chairs do not move and are hard. My students need movement and the Hokki stool offers this. The Hokki stool offers the student freedom in movement that does not distract others while they work. The movement of the stool offers comfort for students who may become stressful during the classroom day. This slight motion of rocking often soothes the students stress or anxiety which will help the student be able to focus on classroom instruction. This addition to our classroom would be very beneficial to all of my students.
