My classroom is the only fifth and sixth grade classroom in our rural school. We are part of a poverty-stricken community, which results in our district having very little money to spend on the students' essential education. My classroom contains 45 students. With funds being so low, we are only able to have the bare minimum learning tools for our students, which makes it where most of our material is extremely outdated (textbooks, lab kits, educational resources, etc.). This also makes it to where we have little to no technology throughout our entire elementary school, where all teachers (PK-6) have one Smart Board to share among each other. Our school has a very deserving bunch of learners!
