One of the most important parts of the school day is guided reading. During guided reading, I work with small groups of students in order to give more individualized instruction to the students' reading levels. The other students rotate to reading stations where I set up engaging and purposeful activities for them to do independently. The materials I have asked for are to help set up those engaging stations and optimize the students learning at all times. I have also included some tools to help me organize and save materials that will be used for reading stations. The goal of this project is make reading centers learning fun and engaging for the children while allowing them to increase their skills in phonological awareness, decoding, and letter knowledge.
