Sensory paths provide an opportunity to take a break from the demanding school day. Students will be able to walk, jump, bounce and push themselves through their distractions or frustrations. The sensory path will be available to any student within the school building and at any time throughout the school day. Experts say sensory paths can also help students develop motor skills, including balance, hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. The sensory path will decrease negative behavior but increase cognition and provide a positive outlet for students throughout the school day.
