Hello and welcome! An Adult Transition Program (ATP) is designed to assist young adults with identified disabilities in obtaining crucial skills needed for a successful transition from student of a school district to adult life. ATPs generally focus in three main areas: vocational skills, daily living skills, and post-secondary education. ATP students are young adults who are 18 to 22 years of age who continue to qualify for continued education provided by our District. These students are eligible due to the identification of a disability such as autism, intellectual disability, orthopedic impairment, speech or language impairment, or other disabilities described in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. Each student possesses an individualized education program based on his or her unique needs and individual interests.
