My students are in the seventh grade. They are new to the school, which makes them young in a healthy and excited way. Most students come to school with excitement and enthusiasm about being here. We try to help students find connections to the school that include extracurricular interests as well as academic interests. Our school is a fantastic place to be. Students do a lot of work collaboratively and respect each others differences. The school has students in grades 7 and 8 and we have a true middle school model. We have teams and students have a common group of chore teachers. We support student learning in an environment that failure is not an option. If a student is struggling, they are put on a success plan- a plan that puts supports in place to give the student what they need to be successful.
