Our school educates the students of one of the poorest counties in Texas. 73% of my students live in poverty yet, they have not allowed that to dampen their enthusiasm for science. Our school is in a rural community with an average of 85 students in each grade. The kids may have different backgrounds, but their love for being outside is a unifying factor.
