Hi, I am Liz Carrera and I teach at Davis Elementary. I am always on the hunt for new and interesting ways to teach our 5th grade math and science concepts. I once had the pleasure of meeting Bill Nye the Science Guy and I asked him for teaching advice. His reply was to "teach with passion" and that is what motivates me everyday to learn and grow in my profession. I also asked him if he had any words for my students. He replied, "go change the world". So, I plan to help them learn and grow one lesson at a time.
